Did you know that you can swim with turtles at São Pedro all year round? Snorkeling with sea turtles in São Vicente’s clear waters is a once-in-a-lifetime experience. São Pedro is one of the few places where you can snorkel with turtles in their natural habitat year-round. Departing from São Pedro beach with a local fishermen’s boat, you will have the chance to see these majestic creatures up close and personal.

How It Works

Pick-Up and Transfer to São Pedro Beach: Arrive at Praia da Laginha and we’ll pick you up.
Short Boat Ride to Turtle Spotting Area: Board a local fisherman’s boat for a short ride to the turtle spotting area.
Safety Briefing: We’ll give you a quick safety briefing and provide all the equipment you need, including mask, tube, fins, neoprene shorty.
Snorkeling with Turtles: Put on your snorkeling gear and get ready to dive in. Spend 45 minutes to an hour snorkeling with the turtles.
Optional Drink and Return to Mindelo: Option to get a drink at a local beach bar or change clothes.
Return Transfer: We’ll transfer you back to Praia da Laginha.
